Daily calorie and macro targets start from the Mifflin-St Jeor equation — the most accurate predictor of basal metabolic rate in clinical literature — then layered with activity, goal, and Apple Health data.
Recipes engineered to your targets
Every recipe is built to match the calorie and macro targets calculated from your body stats and goal. In the rare cases where a target isn't scientifically possible (e.g. very low-fat targets with naturally fatty ingredients), the recipe flags it so you can swap.
Macro splits for your goal
Protein targets follow ISSN guidance (1.6–2.2g/kg for active adults). Carbs and fat are balanced to your remaining calories, with sensible floors so you never starve a macro.
Verified ingredient database
Every ingredient pulls from USDA FoodData Central and curated brand databases — nutrition data based on actual values, not rounded estimates.
Dietary, allergy & dislike filters
